Do you want to earn your high school equivalency Diploma
but don't know where to begin?

MWSE Adult Education can help you prepare for the GED® test and guide you through the process of earning your certification.  Our preparation courses are free of charge and individualized to help you reach your potential.

Although we do not pay for or administer the official GED® test, MWSE Adult Education can assist you in finding alternate funding options and scheduling your Online-Proctored (OP) GED
® tests in-person at an official GED® testing site.

To participate in our program, you will need to complete the TABE basic skills placement test and our online enrollment forms.

GED Information

The GED® test is one of two options for individuals in Michigan seeking to earn their High School Equivalency Diploma.  The State of Michigan  recognizes the GED® and HiSet® tests as options for individuals to earn a High School Equivalency credential.   MWSE Adult Education is focused on preparing individuals for the GED® test.

The GED® test measures an individual's educational level in 4 core subject areas: Reasoning  Through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies. Individuals must earn a passing score in each of the 4 subject area tests to earn their GED® high school equivalency certification.   Visit the GED website for more details.
